Welcome
Elon Baptist Church is a place where people can meet Jesus, engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. Our regular Sunday worship service begins at 10:30am and usually runs for 60-70 minutes. Though we are not a large church, you'll find a diverse group of people of various ages and backgrounds.

What To Expect
On a typical Sunday we gather together to worship God and encourage one another. It is our prayer that those attending come as ready participants rather than watching consumers. During our time together, we endeavor to ensure that all we do pleases the Lord. At the heart of our meeting is the conviction that God breathes life into his people through his Word and therefore, we endeavor in every service to read the Word, pray the Word, sing the Word, preach the Word, and respond to the Word.
Some frequently asked questions may be found below.
How should I dress?
We want you to feel comfortable here! You’ll notice a range of clothing styles. Many come dressed casually while others prefer a semi-formal style.
What is the preaching style?
The current pastors prefer to use an expository preaching style that is driven by a text of Scripture. They most often preach through books of the Bible and occasionally look at God’s Word topically. While many ministries expound on life and illustrate with Scripture, Elon is committed to expounding on Scripture and illustrating
with life applications.
What is your music like?
Our worship music is “blended” in that it includes contemporary hymns and songs as well as the great hymns of the Christian faith.
Where do I park?
We have a parking lot at the back of the property on Ralph St. There are a few Handicapped Parking spots in front of the church on Church St. From the parking lot, you can walk around to the front of the building or go through the Fellowship Hall by the parking lot and walk to the other end of the building.
Are there programs for my children?
We have loving and safe activities for children in age-appropriate classes that focus on helping kids know God, think biblically and live wisely. There are Bible studies for kids at 9:30 in age appropriate classes and then a "Children's Church" for kids up to 12 that is dismissed during the Morning Worship service. All our volunteers have been screened to work with children.
